  Joop Polder was born in 1939 in The Hague, in The Netherlands. He has degrees from several art academies in Europe and has successfully worked as an artist for many years. Joop Polder gets his inspiration from architecture and from his own dreams. In fact, most of his paintings are the product of his dreams and represent the way he would like to see the world around us. Joop Polder’s paintings are restful and quiet, as a strong contrast to the stress of everyday life. His paintings are filled with trains and trams, for which he has a passion. You could even say that sometimes they behave like human beings. His enormous collection of antique small-scale models reflects this passion.
  
  Joop Polder’s paintings are shown in a select number of galleries and have become part of important international public and private art collections, such as the Gemeentemuseum in The Hague, the private art collection of King Willem-Alexander and Princess Beatrix, and other members of the Dutch Royal family.

  Joop Polder wurde 1939 in Den Haag in den Niederlanden geboren. Er verfügt über Abschlüsse mehrerer Kunstakademien in Europa und ist seit vielen Jahren erfolgreich als Künstler tätig.

  Joop Polder lässt sich von der Architektur und seinen eigenen Träumen inspirieren. Tatsächlich sind die meisten seiner Bilder das Produkt seiner Träume und stellen die Art und Weise dar, wie er die Welt um uns herum sehen möchte.

  Joop Polders Bilder sind erholsam und ruhig, als starker Kontrast zum Stress des Alltags. Seine Bilder sind voller Züge und Straßenbahnen, für die er eine Leidenschaft hat. Man könnte sogar sagen, dass sie sich manchmal wie Menschen verhalten. Seine riesige Sammlung antiker Kleinmodelle spiegelt diese Leidenschaft wider.

  Joop Polders Gemälde werden in einer ausgewählten Anzahl von Galerien gezeigt und sind Teil wichtiger internationaler öffentlicher und privater Kunstsammlungen, wie des Gemeentemuseums in Den Haag, der privaten Kunstsammlung von König Willem-Alexander und Prinzessin Beatrix und anderen Mitgliedern der Niederländische Königsfamilie.
