Graduated a biologist it took many years before Kijzers realised science couldn’t satisfy his need for storytelling, which is why he ultimately picked up photography.
Kijzers discovered a way to combine his busy life with a quest for special and intimate moments to unleash his photography talents. He scrapes the borders between humankind and nature. Sometimes no more than a few centimeters large it sits beneath our feet.
Kijzers’s work is characterised by a multitude of photos put together to create the perfect composition. As the different photos have slight difference they create a layered picture triggering an optical adventure through time and movement in one picture.
